Grandfather "moonlighting" at Great-grandpa Miller's Hotel - Manhattan, NY - 1936

[Historical note: Grandfather was a trained musician, having received his degrees (violin and voice) from the University of Berlin about 1920. At the time these pictures were made, he was "The Prince" in the operetta "The Student Prince" on Broadway. The operetta was the longest running production on Broadway for many years. Mario Lanza was his successor upon Grandfather's departure from the stage and the role. He also had his own weekly radio program from New York and frequently helped his father out in the operation of his hotel in Manhattan.]
